And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.


Then came the messengers to Gibeah of Saul, and told the tidings in the ears of the people: and all the people lifted up their voices, and wept.


Swear now therefore unto me by the LORD, that you will not cut off my descendants after me, and that you will not destroy my name out of my father's house.


And David swore unto Saul. And Saul went home; but David and his men got themselves up unto the stronghold.
