And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and his people Israel.


Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem:


And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any animal with me, except the animal that I rode upon.


Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:


And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.


Therefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause who had done the wrong, nor for his cause who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.


And not by his coming only, but by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.


If any do inquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker concerning you: or if our brethren be inquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.


So that we urged Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.


For I have no man like minded, who will naturally care for your state.


And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father by him.


For God has put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
