But the LORD said to David my father, Since it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well in that it was in your heart:


Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that gives it willingly with his heart you shall take my offering.


Every one that did offer an offering of silver and bronze brought the LORD's offering: and every man, with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it.


The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.


Take from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and bronze,


The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.


And likewise he that had received two, he also gained another two.


He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.


He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.


Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which you have.


For I mean not that other men be eased, and you burdened:


And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and a testimony of your eagerness:


Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.


As every man has received a gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
