Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.


That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.


And whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.


Watch, stand fast in the faith, be men, be strong.


For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge them that are such.


I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from there into Macedonia.


And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.


For if I have boasted anything to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found to be truth.


And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.


Nevertheless God, who comforts those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;


I sent him therefore the more eagerly, that, when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.


The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chains:


Yea, brother, let me have joy of you in the Lord: refresh my heart in the Lord.


For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the hearts of the saints are refreshed by you, brother.


Finally, be all of one mind, having compassion one with another, love as brethren, be tender hearted, be courteous:
