I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.


Yea, you yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.


Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,


If others be partakers of this right over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this right; but endure all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.


Or I only and Barnabas, have not we the right to forbear working?


Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am humble among you, but being absent am bold toward you:


To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's field of things made ready to our hand.


For what is it in which you were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.


Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,


For you remember, brethren, our labor and travail: for laboring night and day, because we would not be a burden unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.


Neither did we eat any man's bread for nothing; but worked with labor and travail night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you:
