For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.


And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.


And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in my own land of your acts, and of your wisdom:


Happy are your men, and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you, and hear your wisdom.


Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for them that fear you; which you have wrought for them that trust in you before the sons of men!


For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! grain shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maidens.


But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.


Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
