And Esau said unto his father, Have you but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.


Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.


The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Beracah, and Jehu the Anthothite,


Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.


And whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.


Bear you one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.


Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them who suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.


And it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spoke these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voices, and wept.


(And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until evening, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.)


Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until evening, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.


And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till evening before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept greatly;


And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.


And Saul tarried in the outskirts of Gibeah under a pomegranate tree which is in Migron: and the people that were with him were about six hundred men;


Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.


Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
