Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the ruin from the wicked, when it comes.


I, even I, am he that comforts you: who are you, that you should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;


Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD.


O LORD, you know: remember me, and visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in your longsuffering: know that for your sake I have suffered rebuke.


Like adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.


And fear not them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.


Fear not therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows.


He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.


For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.


And everyone that has forsaken houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.


And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,


For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.


Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me.


Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.


For I will show him what great things he must suffer for my name's sake.


Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.


For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters you are, as long as you do well, and are not afraid with any terror.
