And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keeps covenant and mercy with your servants that walk before you with all their heart:


But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built?


Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house be established forever, and do as you have said.


Now, O LORD God, let your promise unto David my father be established: for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.


Establish your word unto your servant, who is devoted to your fear.


[Zayin] Remember the word unto your servant, upon which you have caused me to hope.


Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.


And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the very heaven in its clearness.


When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongues fail for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.


And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.


That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.


Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant you your petition that you have asked of him.
