And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in my own land of your acts and of your wisdom.


Happy are your men, happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you, and that hear your wisdom.


We have thought of your lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of your temple.


For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O God, besides you, what he has prepared for him that waits for him.


For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! grain shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maidens.


And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.


But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.


Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
