And the king made of the almug wood pillars for the house of the LORD, and for the king’s house, harps also and psalteries for singers: there came no such almug wood, nor was seen such unto this day.


And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.


Send me now therefore a man skillful to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that has skill to engrave with the skillful men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.


Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that your servants have skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with your servants,


And Huram sent him ships by the hands of his servants, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took from there four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.


Then shall you lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.


Kings' daughters were among your honorable women: at your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
