Great peace have they who love your law: and nothing shall offend them.


Let us know, let us press on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.


Yet has he not root in himself, but endures for a while: for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he is offended.


Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!


Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walks in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world.


Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walks in darkness knows not where he goes.


Then said Jesus to those Jews who believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed;


Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.


That you may approve things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ;


Therefore rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:


But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not where he goes, because that darkness has blinded his eyes.


We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides in death.
