If they sin against you, (for there is no man that sins not,) and you are angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;


And he said, What have they seen in your house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in my house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.


If they sin against you, (for there is no man who sins not,) and you are angry with them, and deliver them over to their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far or near;


Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? no one.


What is man, that he should be clean? and he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?


How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?


I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just before God?


And enter not into judgment with your servant: for in your sight shall no man living be justified.


Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?


For there is not a just man upon earth, that does good, and sins not.


All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.


But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.


Yet you say, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with you, because you say, I have not sinned.


And if a leprosy breaks out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of him that has the disease from his head even to his foot, wherever the priest looks;


You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.


As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:


For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;


Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.


For if a man thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.


Perverse wranglings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw yourself.


But evil men and seducers shall grow worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.


But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.


If any man among you seems to be religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain.


For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.


And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. Spots they are and blemishes, reveling themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;


If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.


If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:


He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.


If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?


For the truth's sake, which dwells in us, and shall be with us forever.


For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, even as you walk in the truth.
