The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that wins souls is wise.


Moreover if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you have gained your brother.


I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.


If by any means I may provoke to envy them who are my flesh, and might save some of them.


Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification.


Conscience, I say, not your own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged by another man's conscience?


Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.


For how do you know, O wife, whether you shall save your husband? or how do you know, O man, whether you shall save your wife?


Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not you my work in the Lord?


Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.


For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many increase to the glory of God.


For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.


Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.


For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.


Take heed unto yourself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this you shall both save yourself, and them that hear you.


Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.


Likewise, you wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conduct of the wives;
