He uncovers deep things out of darkness, and brings out to light the shadow of death.


A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.


Rejoice, O young man, in your youth; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes: but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.


For God shall bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.


For my eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from my eyes.


I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.


They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of my offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepts them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and punish their sins: they shall return to Egypt.


Then shall you return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that serves him not.


Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.


And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.


Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.


His lord said unto him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter into the joy of your lord.

Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven:

Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to you?


How can you believe, who receive honor one of another, and seek not the honor that comes from God only?


Who are you that judge another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yea, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.


Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whosoever you are that judge: for in what you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you that judge do the same things.


In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.


But he is a Jew, who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.


To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life:


So that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:


But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.


For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you do show the Lord's death till he comes.


But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.


Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall test every man's work of what sort it is.


If any man's work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.


Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.


For not he that commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.


That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.


But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.


For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may be recompensed for the things done in his body, according to what he has done, whether it be good or bad.


For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.


Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.


Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaks evil of his brother, and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law, and judges the law: but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.


Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain.


Murmur not one against another, brethren, lest you be judged: behold, the judge stands before the door.


That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:


And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.


Looking for and hastening unto the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?


And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.


And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints,


Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also who pierced him: and all tribes of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.


And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
