And saying to the king, O king, thou wilt live forever: wherefore shall not my face be sad when the city of the house of my father's sepulchres was laid waste, and its gates consumed with fire?


By the multitude of power my clothing will be disguised: it will gird me about as the mouth of my coat


And my flesh was clothed with worms, and a clod of dust; my akin was contracted and melted away.


For my days were finished in smoke, and my bones burnt as fuel.


A word of Belial will press upon him: and when he lay down, he will not add to rise up.


And immediately the messenger of the Lord struck him, because he gave not the glory to God: and eaten by worms, he expired.
