Jehovah was pleased for sake of his justice; he will magnify the law and make glorious.


And he will say to me, Thou my servant, Israel, whom I will be honored in thee.


And Jesus having heard, said, This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that by it the Son of God be honoured.


Father, honour thy name. Then came a voice from heaven, I have also honoured, and will again honour.


And whatever ye ask in my name, this will I do, that the Father might be honoured by the Son.


I honoured thee upon earth: I finished the work which thou hast given me that I should do.


The crowd answered and said, Thou hast a demon: who seeks to kill thee?


And he having sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone; for I do always things pleasing to him.


Truly therefore they went rejoicing from the face of the council, that for his name they were deemed worthy to be dishonoured.


Does not nature itself teach you, that, if a man truly have long hair, it is a dishonour to him?


It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:


Who, being reviled, reviled not back; suffering, he threatened not; and delivered to him judging justly;
