And YY gave Shlomo wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Shlomo; and they two made a league together.


Take heed now; for YY hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.


And David said to Shlomo his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for YY Elohim, even my Elohim, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of YY .


And give unto Shlomo my son a perfect heart, to keep thy Commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.


In my distress I cried unto YY , and he heard me.


I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.


I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of YY .


Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.


If it had not been YY who was on our side, now may Yisrael say;


They that trust in YY shall be as mount TZiyon, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.


When YY turned again the captivity of TZiyon, we were like them that dream.


Give the king thy judgments, O Elohim, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.


And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.


A man's heart deviseth his way: but YY directeth his steps.


I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.


The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?


The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.


I YY do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.


His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.


I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Yerushalayim, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of YY , keep not silence,


Set up the standard upon the walls of Bavel, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for YY hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Bavel.


One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Bavel that his city is taken at one end,


And if Moshiach be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.


So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but Elohim that giveth the increase.


I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.


But thou shalt remember YY thy Elohim: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.


And it was told the king of Yericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Yisrael to search out the country.
