For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.


Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.


But they said, We will drink no wine: for Nadav the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:


And ye shall be holy unto me: for I YY am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.


Speak unto the children of Yisrael, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for YY by thy estimation.


If a woman also vow a vow unto YY , and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;


And YY spake unto Moshe, saying,


For he shall be great in the sight of YY , and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with Ruach HaKodesh, even from his mother's womb.


And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:


For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto Elohim from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Yisrael out of the hand of the Plishtim.


That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto Elohim from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.


Therefore also I have lent him to YY ; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to YY . And he worshipped YY there.
