And the anger of YY was kindled against Uzzah; and Elohim smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of Elohim.


And he made an house of high places, and made kohanim of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.


And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Shlomo had built the house of YY in Yerushalayim: and then they waited on their office according to their order.


And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.


And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aharon and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the kohen's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aharon and his sons.


And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things: but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves.


There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the kohen, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.


And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Lvim shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Lvim shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.


And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the kohenhood also?


And there came out a fire from YY , and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.


To be a memorial unto the children of Yisrael, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aharon, come near to offer incense before YY ; that he be not as Korach, and as his company: as YY said to him by the hand of Moshe.


And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.


Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your kohen's office for everything of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your kohen's office unto you as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.


And YY spake unto Moshe, saying,


But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moshe, and Aharon and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Yisrael; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.


Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;


Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the holy ones, and of the household of Elohim;


For YY thy Elohim hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of YY , him and his sons for ever.


For if he were on earth, he should not be a kohen, seeing that there are kohanim that offer gifts according to the Torah:


And the man Mikhah had an house of elohim, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his kohen.


And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of YY , even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because YY had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.
