And Avraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his shofars: and Avraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.


And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Yitzchak, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.


And Noach builded an altar unto YY ; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.


And Yitro, Moshe' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for Elohim: and Aharon came, and all the elders of Yisrael, to eat bread with Moshe' father in law before Elohim.


And YY called unto Moshe, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,


And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which YY hath put in my mouth?


And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet YY yonder.


And Balak did as Bilam had spoken; and Balak and Bilam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.


But Bilam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that YY speaketh, that I must do?


And Elohim met Bilam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.


And when Bilam saw that it pleased YY to bless Yisrael, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.


Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;


But I would not hearken unto Bilam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.
