And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art an Elohim ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.


How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!


And the children of Yisrael said unto them, Would to Elohim we had died by the hand of YY in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.


And they said unto them, YY look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.


Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the shofar, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:


YY hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Yhudah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.


And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith YY .


But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised YY which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?


Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?


And the people chode with Moshe, and spake, saying, Would Elohim that we had died when our brethren died before YY !


And the people spake against Elohim, and against Moshe, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.


To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,


Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
