Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moshe his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.


And he went out from Pharaoh, and intreated YY .


And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O YY , let my YY , I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.


It may be YY thy Elohim will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Ashur his master hath sent to reproach the living Elohim, and will reprove the words which YY thy Elohim hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.


Then said YY unto me, Though Moshe and Shmuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.


And TZidkiyah-yahu the king sent Yehucal the son of Shelemiah and TZfanyah-yahu the son of Maaseiah the kohen to the prophet Yirmeyah-yahu, saying, Pray now unto YY our Elohim for us.


And said unto Yirmeyah-yahu the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto YY thy Elohim, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)


And Aharon said unto Moshe, Alas, my YY , I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.


And Moshe cried unto YY , saying, Heal her now, O Elohim, I beseech thee.


Therefore the people came to Moshe, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against YY , and against thee; pray unto YY , that he take away the serpents from us. And Moshe prayed for the people.


Then answered Shimon, and said, Pray ye to YY for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.


For such an kohen gadol became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;


Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.


If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
