And Elohim remembered Noach, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and Elohim made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;


And, behold, Elohim himself is with us for our captain, and his kohanim with sounding shofars to cry alarm against you. O children of Yisrael, fight ye not against YY Elohim of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.


And when Yhudah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind: and they cried unto YY , and the kohanim sounded with the shofars.


Remember me, O YY , with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;


Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.


Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:


All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a shofar, hear ye.


Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a shofar, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Yaakov their sins.


My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the shofar, the alarm of war.


How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the shofar?


Declare ye in Yhudah, and publish in Yerushalayim; and say, Blow ye the shofar in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.


Therefore, behold, the days come, saith YY , that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Yisrael be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith YY .


O ye children of Binyamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Yerushalayim, and blow the shofar in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.


Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the shofar. But they said, We will not hearken.

And Moshe sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Pinchas the son of Eleazar the kohen, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the shofars to blow in his hand.


For if the shofar give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?


When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for YY thy Elohim is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.


And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's shofar, and when ye hear the sound of the shofar, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.


The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.


And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Yisrael: eighteen years, all the children of Yisrael that were on the other side Yarden in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilad.


And when YY raised them up judges, then YY was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented YY because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.


And it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew a shofar in the mountain of Efrayim, and the children of Yisrael went down with him from the mount, and he before them.


But the Spirit of YY came upon Gidon, and he blew a shofar; and Abiezer was gathered after him.


And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;


And said unto the children of Yisrael, Thus saith YY Elohim of Yisrael, I brought up Yisrael out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:
