Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of Elohim, there assembled unto him out of Yisrael a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore.


I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto YY ; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.


He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.


Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.


And I prayed unto YY my Elohim, and made my confession, and said, O YY , the great and dreadful Elohim, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love Him, and to them that keep His Commandments;


And Aharon shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Yisrael, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:


If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;


Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.


I indeed immerse you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall immerse you with Ruach HaKodesh, and with fire:


And there went out unto him all the land of Yhudah, and they of Yerushalayim, and were all immersed of him in the river of Yarden, confessing their sins.


And many of the children of Yisrael shall he turn to YY their Elohim.


Yochanan answered, saying unto them all, I indeed immerse you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall immerse you with Ruach HaKodesh and with fire:


For Yochanan truly immersed with water; but ye shall be immersed with Ruach HaKodesh not many days hence.


Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, Yochanan indeed immersed with water; but ye shall be immersed with Ruach HaKodesh.


And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.


And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be immersed, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of YY .


And were all immersed unto Moshe in the cloud and in the sea;


Buried with him in immersion, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of Elohim, who hath raised him from the dead.


Of the teaching of immersions, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.


Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.


Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.


And Y'howshu`a said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to YY Elohim of Yisrael, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.


The like figure whereunto even immersion doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward Elohim,) by the resurrection of Y'shuw`a HaMoshiach:


If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
