And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:


Then the king's servants, which were in the king's gate, said unto Mordekhai, Why transgressest thou the king's commandment?


But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress The Commandment of Elohim by your tradition?


And when they saw some of his talmidim eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.


Then the Prushim and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy talmidim according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?


And when the Prushim saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.


And profited in the Judaism (of the Prushim) above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of THE TRADITIONS of my fathers.


Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Moshiach.


Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
