And he took away the treasures of the house of YY , and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Shlomo had made.


But Yhoyada the kohen took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of YY : and the kohanim that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of YY .


And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of YY , and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Shlomo king of Yisrael had made in the temple of YY , as YY had said.


And all the vessels of the house of Elohim, great and small, and the treasures of the house of YY , and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Bavel.


And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the kohen, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Lvim, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.


And the chief kohanim took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.


Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.


These words spake Y'shuw`a in the treasury, as he taught in the Temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.


But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto YY : they shall come into the treasury of YY .


And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of YY .
