By faith the harlot Rachav perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.


And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to YY : only RAchav the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.


And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out RAchav, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Yisrael.


And Y'howshu`a made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.


And when he shewed them the entrance into the city, they smote the city with the edge of the sword; but they let go the man and all his family.
