And it came to pass, when YY would take up Eliyah-yahu into heaven by a whirlwind, that Eliyah-yahu went with Elisha from Gilgal.


Come to Beit-El, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:


But seek not Beit-El, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-Sheva: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Beit-El shall come to nought.


O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Bilam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of YY .


And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moshe spake unto the children of Yisrael, according unto all that YY had given him in Commandment unto them;


Are they not on the other side Yarden, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Kenaanim, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?


And Y'howshu`a returned, and all Yisrael with him, unto the camp to Gilgal.


And the men of Givon sent unto Y'howshu`a to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.


And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:


And you went over Yarden, and came unto Yericho: and the men of Yericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Kenaanim, and the Hittitim, and the Girgashites, the Hivi, and the Yvusis; and I delivered them into your hand.


And it came to pass, when the kohanim that bare the ark of the covenant of YY were come up out of the midst of Yarden, and the soles of the kohanim' feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Yarden returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.


And the children of Yisrael encamped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Yericho.


And YY said unto Y'howshu`a, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.


And they went to Y'howshu`a unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men of Yisrael, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us.


And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.


And Shmuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Shmuel hewed Agag in pieces before YY in Gilgal.
