Then Avraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.


Now king David was old and stricken in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat.


For David said, YY Elohim of Yisrael hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Yerushalayim for ever:


Now the children of Yisrael after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.


So AbiYAH slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead. In his days the land was quiet ten years.


Also he took away out of all the cities of Yhudah the high places and the images: and the kingdom was quiet before him.


So the realm of Yhoshafat was quiet: for his Elohim gave him rest round about.


He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.


As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of YY caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.


And he said unto them, I am an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also YY hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Yarden.


So Y'howshu`a took the whole land, according to all that YY said unto Moshe; and Y'howshu`a gave it for an inheritance unto Yisrael according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.


Now Y'howshu`a was old and stricken in years; and YY said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.


And YY gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; YY delivered all their enemies into their hand.


And now YY your Elohim hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moshe the servant of YY gave you on the other side Yarden.


And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.
