9 And the children of Reuven and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Mnasheh returned, and departed from the children of Yisrael out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Kenaan, to go unto the country of Gilad, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word of YY by the hand of Moshe.

And made him king over Gilad, and over the Ashurites, and over Yizreel, and over Efrayim, and over Binyamin, and over all Yisrael.


And eastward he inhabited unto the entering in of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilad.


Gilad is mine, and Mnasheh is mine; Efrayim also is the strength of mine head; Yhudah is my Torahgiver;


Now the children of Reuven and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilad, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;


And Moshe said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before YY to war,


And the land be subdued before YY : then afterward ye shall return, and be guiltless before YY , and before Yisrael; and this land shall be your possession before YY .


Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilad:


And Moshe said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuven will pass with you over Yarden, every man armed to battle, before YY , and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilad for a possession:


And I Commanded you at that time, saying, YY your Elohim hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Yisrael, all that are meet for the war.


Until YY have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which YY your Elohim hath given them beyond Yarden: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.


And Moshe went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nvo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Yericho. And YY shewed him all the land of Gilad, unto Dan,


And Gilad, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;


And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilad, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;


And half Gilad, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Mnasheh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.


And when they came unto the borders of Yarden, that are in the land of Kenaan, the children of Reuven and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Mnasheh built there an altar by Yarden, a great altar to see to.


Then all the children of Yisrael went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beer-Sheva, with the land of Gilad, unto YY in Mizpeh.


Gilad abode beyond Yarden: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.
