And Sarah died in Kiryat-Arba; the same is Hevron in the land of Kenaan: and Avraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.


And Rechavam went to Shkhem: for all Yisrael were come to Shkhem to make him king.


And out of the tribe of Naftali; Kedesh in Galil with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.


And Rechavam went to Shkhem: for to Shkhem were all Yisrael come to make him king.


And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Lvim there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities.


And Miryam arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Yhudah;


If thou shalt keep all these Commandments to do them, which I Command thee this day, to love YY thy Elohim, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:


Then Moshe severed three cities on this side Yarden toward the sunrising;


The king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam of Carmel, one;


And the name of Hevron before was Kiryat-Arba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.


And unto Kalev the son of Yfuneh he gave a part among the children of Yhudah, according to The Commandment of YY to Y'howshu`a, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hevron.


And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,


And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,


And Kedesh, and Edrei, and Enhazor,


And on the other side Yarden by Yericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuven, and Ramoth in Gilad out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Mnasheh.


And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hevron, in the hill country of Yhudah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.


Thus they gave to the children of Aharon the kohen Hevron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,


For they gave them Shkhem with her suburbs in mount Efrayim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs,


And out of the tribe of Naftali, Kedesh in Galil with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammothdor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.


And Y'howshu`a gathered all the tribes of Yisrael to Shkhem, and called for the elders of Yisrael, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before Elohim.


And Abimelech the son of Yerubaal went to Shkhem unto his mother's brethren, and communed with them, and with all the family of the house of his mother's father, saying,
