And they journeyed: and the terror of Elohim was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Yaakov.


And he also that is valiant, whose heart is as the heart of a lion, shall utterly melt: for all Yisrael knoweth that thy father is a mighty man, and they which be with him are valiant men.


And he returned to the man of Elohim, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no Elohim in all the earth, but in Yisrael: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.


For YY had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Yisrael hath hired against us the kings of the Hittitim, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.


And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our Elohim.


And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.


For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:


The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.


The heaven, even the heavens, are YY 's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.


Now I know that YY is greater than all elohim: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.


I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.


Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear Elohim, which fear before him:


The burden of Egypt. Behold, YY rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

There shall no man be able to stand before you: for YY your Elohim shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.


This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.


And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of YY ; and they shall be afraid of thee.


When the El Elyon divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Yisrael.


By faith the harlot Rachav perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.


And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for YY your Elohim, he is Elohim in heaven above, and in earth beneath.


And they said unto Y'howshu`a, Truly YY hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.


And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;


And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Yarden westward, and all the kings of the Kenaanim, which were by the sea, heard that YY had dried up the waters of Yarden from before the children of Yisrael, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Yisrael.


And YY said unto Y'howshu`a, See, I have given into thine hand Yericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.


And all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Yarden, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth.


And they answered Y'howshu`a, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that YY thy Elohim Commanded his servant Moshe to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.


And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of YY thy Elohim: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,


And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gidon the son of Yoash, a man of Yisrael: for into his hand hath Elohim delivered Midian, and all the host.
