And the hand of YY was on Eliyah-yahu; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Achav to the entrance of Yizreel.


And it came to pass after these things, that Naboth the Yizreelite had a vineyard, which was in Yizreel, hard by the palace of Achav king of Shomron.


And of Izevel also spake YY , saying, The dogs shall eat Izevel by the wall of Yizreel.


Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Yizreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:


And the dogs shall eat Izevel in the portion of Yizreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.


And the carcase of Izevel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Yizreel; so that they shall not say, This is Izevel.


Therefore, behold, the days come, saith YY , that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Yisrael be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith YY .


And Yizreel, and Jokdeam, and ZaNoach,


And Mnasheh had in Yissakhar and in Asher Bethshean and her towns, and Ibleam and her towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Ein-Dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and her towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns, even three countries.


And Y'howshu`a answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Efrayim be too narrow for thee.


And Y'howshu`a spake unto the house of Yosef, even to Efrayim and to Mnasheh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:


But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Kenaanim, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.


And their border was toward Yizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,


And YY was with Yhudah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.


And Sisra gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.


And the children of Yisrael cried unto YY : for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Yisrael.


Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Yizreel.


Now the Plishtim gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Yisraelites pitched by a fountain which is in Yizreel.
