And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hevron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hevron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)


Save Kalev the son of Yfuneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed YY .


Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lvanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.


Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moshe.


And now, behold, YY hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since YY spake this word unto Moshe, while the children of Yisrael wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.


And they gave Hevron unto Kalev, as Moshe said: and he expelled thence the three sons of Anak.
