And Shlomo's builders and Hiram's builders did hew them, and the stonesquarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.


And at that time Shlomo held a feast, and all Yisrael with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before YY our Elohim, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.


Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Plishtim with the inhabitants of TZor;


Is not Calno as Karkmish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Shomron as Dammesek?


Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Bavel to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him.


The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.


Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gat of the Plishtim: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border?


So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.


From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:


Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Kenaanim, and unto Lvanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.


I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Yarden, that goodly mountain, and Lvanon.


Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baalgad in the valley of Lvanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.


And to the Kenaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Yvusi in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.


And these are the kings of the country which Y'howshu`a and the children of Yisrael smote on this side Yarden on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lvanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Y'howshu`a gave unto the tribes of Yisrael for a possession according to their divisions;
