And Avshalom and all the men of Yisrael said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For YY had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that YY might bring evil upon Avshalom.


Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from YY , that he might perform his saying, which YY spake by AhiYAH the Shilonite unto Yarovam the son of Nebat.


And the destruction of Ahaziah was of Elohim by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Yoram against Yehu the son of Nimshi, whom YY had anointed to cut off the house of Achav.


And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that Elohim hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.


And YY said unto Moshe, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him:


And Moshe and Aharon did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and YY hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Yisrael go out of his land.


And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.


And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am YY . And they did so.

For the indignation of YY is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.


Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.


But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for YY thy Elohim hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.


And thou shalt consume all the people which YY thy Elohim shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their elohim; for that will be a snare unto thee.


But his father and his mother knew not that it was of YY , that he sought an occasion against the Plishtim: for at that time the Plishtim had dominion over Yisrael.


If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against YY , who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because YY would slay them.
