And when Yhoshafat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.


And the children of Yisrael took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.


But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which YY thy Elohim hath given thee.


But of the cities of these people, which YY thy Elohim doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:


So Y'howshu`a smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as YY Elohim of Yisrael Commanded.


And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.


But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Yisrael burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Y'howshu`a burn.


As YY Commanded Moshe his servant, so did Moshe Command Y'howshu`a, and so did Y'howshu`a; he left nothing undone of all that YY Commanded Moshe.


And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Yericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it.


Only the cattle and the spoil of that city Yisrael took for a prey unto themselves, according unto the word of YY which he Commanded Y'howshu`a.
