Thus all Yisrael brought up the ark of the covenant of YY with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with shofars, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.


My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.


His foundation is in the holy mountains.


And the locust went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.


Howl ye; for the day of YY is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from El Shaddai.


Behold, the day of YY cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.


For the day of YY -TZvaot shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:


For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith YY : but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.


Hear the word of YY , ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let YY be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.


And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath YY pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against YY our Elohim?


Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.


Declare ye in Yhudah, and publish in Yerushalayim; and say, Blow ye the shofar in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.


Fear ye not me? saith YY : will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?


Tell them therefore, Thus saith YY Elohim; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Yisrael; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.


Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Yisrael: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.


For the day is near, even the day of YY is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.


If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the shofar, and warn the people;


But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the shofar, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.


Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.


The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.


I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the Elohim of Daniel: for he is the living Elohim, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.


O YY , according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Yerushalayim, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Yerushalayim and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.


And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Yisrael, and presenting my supplication before YY my Elohim for the holy mountain of my Elohim;


Blow ye the cornet in Givah, and the shofar in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after thee, O Binyamin.


Set the shofar to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of YY , because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my Torah.


Alas for the day! for the day of YY is at hand, and as a destruction from El Shaddai shall it come.


And YY shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of YY is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?


Blow the shofar in TZiyon, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:


The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of YY come.


Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of YY is near in the valley of decision.


So shall ye know that I am YY your Elohim dwelling in TZiyon, my holy mountain: then shall Yerushalayim be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.


Shall a shofar be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and YY hath not done it?


Woe unto you that desire the day of YY ! to what end is it for you? the day of YY is darkness, and not light.


And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said YY unto me, The end is come upon my people of Yisrael; I will not again pass by them any more.


For the day of YY is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.


The great day of YY is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of YY : the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.


A day of the shofar and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.


Hold thy peace at the presence of YY Elohim: for the day of YY is at hand: for YY hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.


In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.


Behold, the day of YY cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.


Thus saith YY ; I am returned unto TZiyon, and will dwell in the midst of Yerushalayim: and Yerushalayim shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of YY -TZvaot the holy mountain.


For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith YY -TZvaot, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.


Make thee two shofars of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.


And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.


For if the shofar give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?


Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.


For yourselves know perfectly that the day of YY so cometh as a thief in the night.


Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.


But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.


For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
