And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will come and help thee.


But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.


Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our Elohim: and let YY do that which is good in his sight.


Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Ashur, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:


And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember YY , which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.


And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Yerushalayim, and to hinder it.


Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the Torah: and if I perish, I perish.


And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: YY gave, and YY hath taken away; blessed be the name of YY .


And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.


Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.


Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for YY thy Elohim, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

And the children of Yisrael said unto YY , We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.


And the men of the garrison answered Yhonatan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And Yhonatan said unto his armourbearer, Come up after me: for YY hath delivered them into the hand of Yisrael.


And Yhonatan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that YY will work for us: for there is no restraint to YY to save by many or by few.


And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Plishti.


And Shmuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is YY : let him do what seemeth him good.


Be strong and quit yourselves like men, O ye Plishtim, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.
