And let us bring again the ark of our Elohim to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.


So David gathered all Yisrael together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of Elohim from Kiryat-Yearim.


And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of YY , UriYAH the son of Shemaiah of Kiryat-Yearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Yirmeyah-yahu.


Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against YY thy Elohim, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith YY .


They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Yisrael, and Efrayim is my firstborn.


Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.


And the children of Yisrael journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Givon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kiryat-Yearim.


And it came to pass, when the angel of YY spake these words unto all the children of Yisrael, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.


And the men of Kiryat-Yearim came, and fetched up the ark of YY , and brought it into the house of AbiNadav in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of YY .


And Shmuel spake unto all the house of Yisrael, saying, If ye do return unto YY with all your hearts, then put away the strange elohim and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto YY , and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Plishtim.
