And there happened to be there a man of Bliyaal, whose name was Shva, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a shofar, and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Yishai: every man to his tents, O Yisrael.


Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto YY in Givah of Saul, whom YY did choose. And the king said, I will give them.


Heleb the son of Baanah, a Netophathite, Ittai the son of Ribai out of Givah of the children of Binyamin,


The men of Michmas, an hundred twenty and two.


The children also of Binyamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Beit-El, and in their villages.


And Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, which is Yerushalayim, Gibeath, and Kirjath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Binyamin according to their families.


So Y'howshu`a blessed them, and sent them away: and they went unto their tents.


And his master said unto him, We will not turn aside hither into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Yisrael; we will pass over to Givah.


And Saul also went home to Givah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts Elohim had touched.


After that thou shalt come to the hill of Elohim, where is the garrison of the Plishtim: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:


Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Yisrael,


And Shmuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Plishtim gathered themselves together at Michmash;


And Shmuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Givah of Binyamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.


And Saul, and Yhonatan his son, and the people that were present with them, abode in Givah of Binyamin: but the Plishtim encamped in Michmash.


And the garrison of the Plishtim went out to the passage of Michmash.


And the Plishtim gathered themselves together to fight with Yisrael, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.


And they smote the Plishtim that day from Michmash to Aijalon: and the people were very faint.


The forefront of the one was situate northward over against Michmash, and the other southward over against Givah.


And there was sore war against the Plishtim all the days of Saul: and when Saul saw any strong man, or any valiant man, he took him unto him.


Then Shmuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Givah of Saul.


And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.


Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Yisrael with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph.


And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.
