The Lord saw that the king and the leaders of Judah had humbled themselves. Then the message from the Lord came to Shemaiah. The Lord said, “The king and the leaders humbled themselves. So I will not destroy them, but I will save them soon. I will not use Shishak to pour out my anger on Jerusalem.


Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion. They will never be shaken. They will continue forever.


The Lord should be praised from Zion, from Jerusalem, his home. Praise the Lord!


The Lord All-Powerful is with us. The God of Jacob is our place of safety. Selah


God appeared from Zion, the city of perfect beauty.


My darling, you are as beautiful as Tirzah, as pleasant as Jerusalem, as awesome as the stars in the sky.


Those who pass by on the road clap their hands and laugh at you. They make fun of Jerusalem, shaking their heads at the sight of her. They ask, “Is this the city that people called ‘The Most Beautiful City’ and ‘The Joy of all the Earth’?”
