Then he went back to the followers. Again he found them sleeping. They could not stay awake.


Then Jesus went back to the followers and said, “Are you still sleeping and resting? The time has come for the Son of Man to be handed over to the control of sinful men.


“And when you pray, don’t be like the people who don’t know God. They say the same things again and again. They think that if they say it enough, their god will hear them.


Then Jesus taught the followers that they should always pray and never lose hope. He used this story to teach them:


I begged the Lord three times to take this problem away from me.
