Arise, get you to Tzarfat, which belongs to Tzidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow there to sustain you.


Par`oh-Nekho put him in bonds at Rivlah in the land of Chamat, that he might not reign in Yerushalayim; and put the land to a tribute of one hundred talents of silver, and a talent of gold.


The king of Bavel struck them, and put them to death at Rivlah in the land of Chamat. So Yehudah was carried away captive out of his land.


and all the kings of Tzor, and all the kings of Tzidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea;


because of the day that comes to destroy all the Pelishtim, to cut off from Tzor and Tzidon every helper who remains: for the LORD will destroy the Pelishtim, the remnant of the isle of Kaftor.


Of Damascus. Chamat is confounded, and Arpad; for they have heard evil news, they are melted away: there is sorrow on the sea; it can't be quiet.

Chamat, Berotah, Sivrai, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Chamat; the middle Chatzer, which is by the border of Chavran.


Thus says the LORD: *For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have threshed Gil`ad with threshing instruments of iron;


For, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, house of Yisra'el,* says the LORD, the God Tzeva'ot; *and they will afflict you from the entrance of Chamat to the brook of the `Aravah.*


The captives of this army of the children of Yisra'el, who are among the Kena`anim, will possess even to Tzarfat; and the captives of Yerushalayim, who are in Sefarad, will possess the cities of the Negev.


So they went up, and spied out the land from the wilderness of Tzin to Rechov, to the entrance of Chamat.
