These twenty years I have been in your house. I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times.


Your father has deceived me, and changed my wages ten times, but God didn't allow him to hurt me.


Eliyahu said to him, *Please wait here, for the LORD has sent me to the Yarden.* He said, *As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.* They two went on.


Then the Spirit came on `Amasai, who was chief of the thirty, [and he said], *We are yours, David, and on your side, you son of Yishai: shalom, shalom be to you, and shalom be to your helpers; for your God helps you.* Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.


He gathered all Yehudah and Binyamin, and those who sojourned with them out of Efrayim and Menasheh, and out of Shim`on: for they fell to him out of Yisra'el in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.


In every province, and in every city, wherever the king's mitzvah and his decree came, the Jews had gladness, joy, a feast, and a good day. Many from among the peoples of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews was fallen on them.


You have reproached me ten times. You aren't ashamed that you attack me.


Give a portion to seven, yes, even to eight; for you don't know what evil will be on the earth.


Indeed a man shall take hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying, *You have clothing, you be our ruler, and let this ruin be under your hand.*


Seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, *We will eat our own bread, and wear our own clothing: only let us be called by your name. Take away our reproach.*


Thus says the LORD: *The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Kush, and the Seva'im, men of stature, shall come over to you, and they shall be yours. They shall go after you. In chains they shall come over; and they shall fall down to you. They shall make supplication to you: 'Surely God is in you; and there is none else, there is no other god.


Only in the LORD, it is said of me, is righteousness and strength; even to him shall men come; and all those who were incensed against him shall be disappointed.


Behold, you shall call a nation that you don't know; and a nation that didn't know you shall run to you, because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Yisra'el; for he has glorified you.


The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending to you; and all those who despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you The city of the LORD, The Tziyon of the Holy One of Yisra'el.


Nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.


For I [know] their works and their thoughts: [the time] comes, that I will gather all nations and languages; and they shall come, and shall see my glory.


He will be our shalom when Ashur invades our land, and when he marches through our fortresses, then we will raise against him seven shepherds, and eight leaders of men.


Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you, and I will save those who are lame, and gather those who were driven away. I will give them praise and honor, whose shame has been in all the earth.


because all those men who have seen my glory, and my signs, which I worked in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tempted me these ten times, and have not listened to my voice;


came behind him, and touched the tzitzit of his cloak, and immediately the flow of her blood stopped.


so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and the evil spirits went out.


And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. So he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.
