When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the Kohanim in their clothing with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaf with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the order of David king of Yisra'el.


The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.


You mountains, that you skipped like rams; you little hills, like lambs?


The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.


For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.


Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, *Behold, I lay in Tziyon for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.


Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.


the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say, Give thanks to the LORD of Armies, for the LORD is good, for his loving kindness endures forever; [and of them] who bring [sacrifices of] thanksgiving into the house of the LORD. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, says the LORD.


Behold, I am against you, destroying mountain, says the LORD, which destroys all the earth; and I will stretch out my hand on you, and roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burnt mountain.


The mountains melt under him, and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like waters that are poured down a steep place.


But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it.


He stood, and shook the earth. He looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains were crumbled. The age-old hills collapsed. His ways are eternal.


Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,


*The hands of Zerubbavel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands shall also finish it; and you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.


Yeshua answered them, *Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it would be done.


Yeshua said to them, *Did you never read in the Scriptures, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner. This was from the Lord. It is marvelous in our eyes?'


Haven't you even read this Scripture: 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner.


But he looked at them, and said, *Then what is this that is written, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the chief cornerstone?'


Every valley will be filled. Every mountain and hill will be brought low. The crooked will become straight, and the rough ways smooth.


He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.'


And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.


being built on the foundation of the emissaries and prophets, Messiah Yeshua himself being the chief cornerstone;


For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient, *The stone which the builders rejected, has become the chief cornerstone,*


Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
