In that day, this song will be sung in the land of Yehudah: *We have a strong city. God appoints salvation for walls and bulwarks.


Violence shall no more be heard in your land, desolation nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.


For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.


The whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields to the brook Kidron, to the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy to the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more forever.


Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries, where I have driven them in my anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation; and I will bring them again to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:


Moreover I will make a covenant of shalom with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore.


*So you will know that I am the LORD, your God, dwelling in Tziyon, my holy mountain. Then Yerushalayim will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more.


But Yehudah will be inhabited forever, and Yerushalayim from generation to generation.


I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them,* says the LORD your God.


In that day I will make the chieftains of Yehudah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they will devour all the surrounding peoples, on the right hand and on the left; and Yerushalayim will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Yerushalayim.


and said to him, *Run, speak to this young man, saying, 'Yerushalayim will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.


It shall come to pass that, as you were a curse among the nations, house of Yehudah and house of Yisra'el, so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Don't be afraid. Let your hands be strong.*


Thus says the LORD of Armies: *Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Yerushalayim, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.


and I will bring them, and they will dwell in the midst of Yerushalayim; and they will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.*


The LORD listened to the voice of Yisra'el, and delivered up the Kena`anim; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and the name of the place was called Chormah.


Yisra'el dwells in safety; the fountain of Ya`akov alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.


He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.*


There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.
