The entrance of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.


The LORD's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD's mitzvah is pure, enlightening the eyes.


For the mitzvah is a lamp, and the law is light. Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,


that you might know the certainty concerning the things in which you were instructed.


That servant, who knew his lord's will, and didn't prepare, nor do what he wanted, will be beaten with many stripes,


If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.


For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through patience and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.


and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,


What great nation is there, that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?


so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Messiah;


Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.


But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.


To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn't do it, to him it is sin.
