Romans 13:1

God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.


My son, fear the LORD and the king. Don't join those who are rebellious:


He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings, and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding;


The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones; to the intent that the living may know that the Elyon rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whoever he will, and sets up over it the lowest of men.


and you shall be driven from men; and they dwelling shall be with the animals of the field; you shall be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over you; until you know that the Elyon rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whoever he will.


Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amein.'
